Let me start by saying that I've never been keen on scary movies or Tagalog movies... with that in mind, I did not have high hopes for Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang. Surprisingly though the movie had good cinematography and decent lighting - a major pain point I have with most local movies - but the good points ended there. The movie which was marketed as a horror/suspense flick was more of a fledgling romance-action-drama and the lines! Oh dear god the lines are terrifyingly painful on their own:

"Mga bata galing ako sa gubat, pero wag kayo pupunta sa gubat, kasi maraming masamang elemento sa gubat.. oo sa gubat... sa gubat... sa gubat... pasensya na wala kasing entry sa thesaurus ang gubat."
