The Maze Runner starts well but ends with a rather too predictable ending. Acting from Teen Wolf's Dylan O'Brien was superb but the rest of the characters were rather 2-dimensional. Perhaps this is me demanding too much from a translation of a young adult book? Anyway, this trend of dystopian societies from the Divergent series to Hunger Games seem to be riding an all too similar storyline much like the genre of teen vampires and werewolf books/movies rode through a cycle from few year's back.
