Norton disconnects AOL users

AOL subscribers with Norton AntiVirus and Norton Internet Security installed on their machines were cut off for several hours last Wednesday due to a recent update in Norton. Users with said software installed on their machines were unable to connect to AOL due to an update to Norton's Symantec Intrusion Detection signature.

Are you affected?
A fix has been provided by Norton here Cannot connect to AOL after running LiveUpdate on March 15, 2006.
