Soldier on Horse

Charge!

This is perhaps one of the more dynamic works of art in the grassy fields surrounding the area. With a horse standing on its hind legs and a soldier mounted on its back, a stance of direct action and movement is perceived. Made of bronze and quite detailed, the statue sits solely in the center of the field with only the trees to hear it silently shout "Charge"...

ooh! i remember that statue! i see it all the time when the cab passes through UP from Katipunan. i remember this one time when we had to go visit the vargas museum as part of our humanities assignment. there was this one eerie painting of a little girl in the 2nd floor. no matter which angle you look at it, she’s looking strait at you. *cringe*
