Lion’s head, Kennon Road

Baguio rears it's head

This lion stands steadfast at Kennon Road greeting tourists and residents of the City of Pines. A monument that has stood the test of time and has surpassed many incidents including the 1991 earthquake that devastated Baguio city. It has also suffered a much different fate than that of the Marcos bust on Marcos Highway which was bombed early last year.

i dont like the colors… it looks like something from planet of the apes. ;) the plain golden yellow or black would have been much, much better.
