Manila Seedling Bank

Tranquility

I'm off to Corregidor tomorrow for a short trip. Also, I'm not yet done with the design so I'm real sorry if this is taking long...

Anyway, here is a flower (I think it's a kind of lotus though I'm not sure) that I passed by on the way to work today, it was at the Manila Seedling Bank in Quezon City. Unfortunately, I found that the Manila Seedling Bank is at a danger of being overcome by urban pollution. With the increasing number of shanties being set up by squatters in the North Triangle area and a proposed Transport Terminal adjacent to the Manila Seeding Bank, flowers and trees that are cultured within the large space of land succumb to the elements at a faster rate...

you really go around with a camera ready? hmm… have to be careful if we meet each other. rick (of starbucksforfree.com) has threatened to take my pictures when we meet. of course, i can fly away or melt his camera, so that should make him a bit more careful. :)

anyway, very nice pics you have!

i would like to inquire a list of seedlings of Manila Seedling Bank. what kind of plants do you recommend for the students to take care of?

in terms of amount, how much does each seedling cost? im planning to buy 72 seedlings–will be there, by any chance, if you could give me a discount?

hoping for your immediate & considerable response.
please contact me through my email (teacher_nina44@yahoo.com) or my other contact numbers ( 0917-4024568 ; 7243871 )

thank you,
teacher nina

We are presently rehabilitating the former Zablan field or Kagitingan Park in Camp Emilio Aguinaldo. It is being managed by the AFP Museum and Historical Library Foundation, Inc. We would like our park to be environment-friendly also. Can we ask for donation of seedlings and ornamental plants? I can be reached through tel. nos. 912-7664. Thank you
