Fear and Grief as a universal feeling...
It was 10.40pm, Studio 23 News Central host Mari Kaimo was interrupted
on air as I was reviewing for an exam the next day. Things happened
quickly as my brain failed to comprehend the succeeding pictures of
smoke billowing from one of the World Trade Center Towers and we know
everything that happened after...
It is indeed rare, when the world shares the same emotion, the awe and
suspense of a man walking on the moon, the joy and victory of a war's
end and the pain, grief and fear of 9/11.
