The big and small of Philippine Economy

You could find it in the side streets and in small stalls... The small 'people' who make the Philippine Economy run. From a simple Banana-q vendor who buys her sugar from a government subsidized rolling store and her bananas exported from the South through government built roads and commercially run shipping companies, her 8-peso (PhP8.00 = US$0.16) banana-q earns her a living just for 1 of her daughters.

Simple Recipe for banana-q:
1. Preheat oil in Frying pan.
2. Peel bananas and add them into hot oil.
3. Add brown sugar. Make sure the sugar sticks to the banana (this may be tricky)
4. Serve on bar-b-q sticks with about 2 bananas per stick.
