Heat of the night
Going home today was not an easy task, the traffic was a snail's pace and the heat quite stifling. It was out of luck that I caught a bus with a free seat. As if that wasn't bad enough, I come home to find that the neighborhood had no water due to a one of our pipes bursting again. (They say its to be fixed by Friday.)
Walking home and almost drained of energy, I was cheered up by the night sky, the moon brightly set, some of the stars struggling through the partly cloudy sky and the blur of city lights. Despite the heat of the night the moon's pleasant sight was able to lift a burden and to say the least it was a very great night cap.
